Who can enroll?
Any resident of Ogun State in the informal sector can enroll as a beneficiary under the Community-Based Health Insurance Scheme.
How much does it cost?
₦12,000 per annum for an individual, or ₦48,000 per annum for a family package. The family package comes with a discount.
Is there a waiting period?
Yes — there is a 2-month waiting period from the date of registration before you can access healthcare services.
What do I get after registration?
You receive an ID card with a unique number, which you present at any accredited OGSHIA healthcare provider to access care.
Where can I use my health insurance?
At any OGSHIA accredited healthcare provider across Ogun State. See the accredited providers directory for the full list.
Can I add my family to my enrollment?
Yes — the family package covers you and eligible dependants at a discounted rate compared to enrolling individually.
How do I renew my membership?
Membership is renewed annually by paying the next year's premium ahead of expiry. Your enrollment continues without interruption when renewed on time.
What if I move or change my details?
Sign in to your beneficiary account or visit any OGSHIA office to update your address, phone number or family information.
